Be a Part of History

The Depot is now part of Arcadia Arts & Heritage Initiative, Inc., and is operated as a not-for-profit historic museum with all operating funds coming from donations and memberships.  Not counting maintenance and upkeep, the annual operating budget expenses total $7,500.  A partial restoration was completed on the building about six years ago, but as is often the case with historic structures, additional building repair and repainting is in order, along with a new roof – all total more than $12,000 in work to help maintain its condition.
We invite you to help us carry out our mission to preserve the history, heritage and art of Arcadia and Jackson Township, by making a tax-deductible donation to the “Restore The Depot” fund.  Your contribution would help support current and ongoing needs of this iconic building and our educational programs.  Maybe you have a family member, historically connected with Arcadia or Jackson Township that you might make a donation “in memory of,” or maybe you just want to help.

If you make a contribution of $100 or more, your name or the name of someone you want to pay tribute to will be included in the donor recognition at The Depot. If you make a contribution of $250 or more, you also will receive a set of depot note cards to use in correspondence, and to help share the story of this treasured building. Donations over $1,000.00 will receive a Depot print. The note cards and prints are ink drawings by Erin Hope Pesavento, Victoria’s daughter.

The Depot is excited to look toward 2016, when Indiana will be celebrating our 200th Anniversary and 2019, when we will celebrate the 150th Anniversary of The Depot.
Help be a part of this important era in Indiana's history by considering a gift to The Depot.
